This is actually Batch 6. But I bought a bottle of Batch 6 to try later. Back to cherry red in color. Tart. Almost leathery with the tannins. Currents must be a more bitter fruit. But this is balanced nicely with the sweetness of the honey.

Poured from a sleek, skinny-ass bottle. I’ve never had mead, but this is some top-rated shit. Wow, different than any craft beer; the closest comp is a sweet wine. Super-sweet; like a sugar-fortified wine. Not good! Maybe I don’t understand the genre.
