New Badge: Lager of The New Generation

When Lager Meets Imagination: What happens when Czech brewing mastery meets Swedish creativity? The answer is Triple Saaz — a bold new lager born from a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Budějovický Budvar and Omnipollo.
A fresh, new take on what lager can be. A Czech-style lager from the new generation.
Brewing Two Worlds Together The collaboration began with a simple message between brewers from two seemingly different beer cultures. On one side: Budvar, with over a century of experience crafting iconic Czech lagers. On the other: Omnipollo, Stockholm's fearless experimenters known for turning brewing into an art form.
That message turned into a meeting, the meeting into a plan — and the plan into a new kind of lager.
What Makes Triple Saaz Different?
- Three Saaz hop varieties: Adding layers of spice, floral complexity, and herbal punch
- Swedish malt: Adds depth and richness to the malt base
- Budvar's legendary yeast: Cold-fermented for weeks to bring it all together in a crisp, clean finish
- 5.1% ABV: Perfectly drinkable, infinitely memorable
This is Czech lager reimagined — rooted in heritage, elevated by creativity.
To make things even more interesting, the beer was brewed in Omnipollo's Church — a former house of worship turned into a brewing sanctuary in central Stockholm. It's the perfect setting for a collaboration that honors tradition while breaking new ground. The label reflects this spirit too — holographic, glitched, and filled with subtle references to space and transformation.
Where to Find It? Triple Saaz is available now at Systembolaget in Sweden and in select markets internationally. Keep an eye on Budvar and Omnipollo's social channels for global drops and tasting events.
