From the cellar. This absolutely amazing aged. The barrels are still flavorful but not hot. The Bw sweet is mellow and compliments the barrels incredibly well. Good strength clean + smooth. Bit thinner + more carbonation than i’d like. still damned good

Seemed fitting to have a barleywine I bought before I moved here to celebrate moving to my new house. And Wendigo sounds like “When I Go” if you slur the words. Strange that “chocolate” comes up as a default flavor profile. Chocolate has no place in a BW.

Amazing what you can find rooting around LA area bottleshops! Showing just a touch of age...dark chocolate, caramel malty, and a bourbon barrel boozy finish on the nose and palate. Nice nite nite sipper! 😴💤
