ST *: Top drawer pale ale for sure, with a solid malty base that many hazy pales completely forget. Very nice simmer carbonation that pervades most of the structure with a slow taper.

ST *: Something immediately clear just from the colour of their Hazies (and the malt flavour in this) is that R+B have not forgotten about malt in their IPAs. Very much in line with my personal preferences these days.
ST * is drinking a Straight To Hell (September 2025 / Batch 7) by Root + Branch Brewing at Shawn’s Beernest

ST *: Supremely consistent at all temps (started 10deg) but this is set apart by a few things. One is mouthfeel, which has a warming, enjoyably acidic quality, the back 1/3 is a treat in itself- Enjoyable and complex in a way which most IPAs simply aren't.
ST *: Some melony ??? Somewhere in all of this. Fantastically tropical throughout
ST * is drinking a Darkstar November (2023) by Bottle Logic Brewing at Shawn’s Beernest
Nose: soya sauce, brief red wine, sweet toffee Structure: med light mouth. Bright berry, caramel earthy, wine tannin slowly tapers off - barely there nose-led carb- Brief Coffee burst slowly fades. Astringent finish.
ST *: Thanks to Tim for sharing! Not rating as I had just a dash of it. Enough to be impressed by it's drinkability and range of flavours at 15.3%
ST * is drinking a GOLEM by UCHU BREWING
Nose: grass, floral, herbal. Pine? Structure: bright lemon- mainly earthy dank, hoppy bitter- simmer carb- sslow rising lemon, wheaty/barley, mild pithy, dank bitter lingers. Better warm and gulped. Coherent and lip smacking. 4.4. Maybe more!
Purchased at Shawn’s Beernest
ST *: Definitely a unique grape and grapefruit dominant flavour profile. Mouthfeel certainly less full than their Tipas. Front 1/3 continues with strong tropicality and burn, while Back 1/3 continues with the same linger and flavour as their big Tipas.

ST *: Starting to gain a sense of what R and B's IPA "signatures" are - certainly unique and distinguishable from other IPA makers like Messorem.
