A little restrained scent with jammy fruitiness, malt, fudge and burnt sugar. Sweet and fruity, oily mouthfeel and well carbonated. Big flavours and alcohol well hidden. Interesting beer, I like it!

Green apples, burnt sugar, figs, oak and calvados clearly prominent. Sweeter than the non-barrel version and not the same balance but still good.

Lemon, yeast, slightly hoppy and sweet. Well made but it tastes like a modern west coast IPA. Nothing wrong, but the total opposite of my preferred NEIPA.
