Oh yeah, this is very good. Lovely interplay of hoppy and creamy. The "freshness" of the fresh hops is all up front with the bite, but it's not too strong & quickly mitigated by the sweeter hazy profile. Like other Brujos, it could be a little lower ABV.

Picking up some kathi rolls and coconut cardamom soft serve and decided to have a Goa-based blonde ale while I waited. This was nice! Not crazy memorable but it's light and citrusy and an easy pound while waiting for good food. Probably good w/ it, too.

Michael N. is drinking a Wet Season: Strata XPA (2025) by Ravenna Brewing Company at Ravenna Brewing Co.
While running errands, felt like checking out one of Ravenna's seasonal crushers. Seattleites are blessed with a preponderance of fresh hop offerings. And while the season in general gets overhyped, it remains a unique and tasty stretch. This one = 👍👍

Michael N. is drinking a Derivation (Blend #20) by Side Project Brewing at Side Project Brewing
Okay, this is very nice. It's a partly candied vanilla flavor w/o the over-sweetness. The almonds might be the explanation for that effect. If there's a honey element, it might be with the mild imparting sweetness and perhaps mouthfeel. Tastiness. 👌

Just so fucking good. Maybe as good as b1 ever was for all that I can truly recall. Emotions are the only real truth in memory and even that's not reliable. Bottom line: the unfettered vanilla clarity & bourbon fudge balance is sublime here. Top notch.
