FINALLY! I’ve had some MM beers almost 20 times, but always missed this one. Definitely makes my top 3 or 4 Oktoberfest beers! Smooth, malty, nice breadiness, some nice caramelly sweetness. Fantastic!

this is truly a unique barleywine. Rich, boozy, but not overly sweet like some Barleywines. Black Treacle, with its charred caramel/molasses notes, creates a bitterness that offsets the boozy sweetness. Very nice!
