Warren Svoboda is drinking a Harvest Ale (Matured In Calvados Casks) (2015) by J.W. Lees & Co. at Untappd at Home
Nose is boozy with rich caramel malt, raisin, and apple butter. You do get the calvados on the tongue and with a great viscosity. Caramel apple for sure and an excellent fall beer. Dense oak throughout. Surprised me as I didn't enjoy my other Harvest Ale
Purchased at Binny's Beverage Depot
Warren Svoboda is drinking a Phantom Ripper by Hop Butcher For The World at Hop Butcher For The World
Beer on left. Has a lot going on. I love the garlic finish. Rich, somewhat creamy mouthfeel but still light on the tongue. Honey sweetness, lemon zing, slight apple juice.
Warren Svoboda is drinking an Aspect of Libra by Hop Butcher For The World at Hop Butcher For The World
Beer on right. Not too soupy. Aroma starts out with that tropical fruit, but comes through with some of those grassy and earthy vibes as well. A touch sweet, it delivers OJ, garlic, green tea.
Warren Svoboda is drinking a Sa Santé by Off Color Brewing at Untappd at Home
Remarkably expressive yeast. Nose is musty af with some earl gray tea. Palate is so rounded and drinkable with the pear note, wheat, lemon zing, and some grassy flavor.
Purchased at Off Color Brewing - Mousetrap
Adam Franklin: Always great.
